A hide counts once. An answer counts when it lands.

Results, the page in the app that shows what your rules did, counts what happened on the platform, not what a rule meant to do. Time to hide is measured from when the comment was posted, not from when we first saw it.

Every reply a rule sends can carry its own short link on cmtly.com. A tap goes through our link router, which records the visit and sends the person straight on to your page.

A click in Results is tied, through its link, to the reply that carried it and the comment that asked. Every step has a time.

What we never count.

Each of these would make a number bigger. None of them is a comment hidden, an answer that landed or a person who tapped, so none is in ours, and none will be added without this page changing first.

A hide the platform refused
If Instagram or Facebook did not hide the comment, it is not in your hidden count.
